Hyboria Leveling Tips

Submitted: 17 years ago (03.18.2009)

Description

Various AoC leveling tips for level-up in the Hyboria world.

Instructions

1-20 Tortage Notes: Covered above, but by this point you should have a good idea how to navigate the quests. Once you know that it’s pretty straight forward. Find quest givers in various zones and do the quests, grind when needed. 20-30 Khemi/Kopshef Notes: You should be able to get to 28th np. Getting to 30th requires really hitting up every quest. From here if your having problems finding enough quests you can goto Connals Valley or Wild Lands of Zelata. 30-40 Old Tarantia + OT Sewers Notes: Use this as a backup area to Khemi/Kopshef, this will be a safe zone. 30-40 Wild Lands of Zelata Notes: Use this as a backup to OT for whatever reason if you don’t have enough XP. Note SoBS is linked to this zone. 40+ RAID Sanctum Of Burning Souls Notes: Super cool looking zone. Has some very nice rewards for the level including the first place you could get a cloak in CB. However I’m not sure it’s effecient to try to do this XP wise, and the items though powerful and cool will quickly be outdated. I’d recomend skipping this and saving it for an alt, or go back at L45-50 and do it. 40-50 FotD Notes: Great zone for leveling. I usually come here in a duo at 37th, you could do it a bit lower with a bigger group. There is a spot to the south central with lots of werewolfs and undead that is ideal for an AOE grind group. 40-50 Tarantia Nobles District Notes: Nice city zone. I’m not sure if this is going to be FFA or protected, but I’d save this for if FotD gets too hot, or you run low on quests. 50-60 Eigliphian Mountains Notes: Nice zone, pretty straight forward on the quests. 60-70 Thunder River Notes: Very cool looking zone. Straight foward on the quests. 60-75 Atzel’s Approach Notes: Super cool zone. Lots of quests. Lots of good places to grind. 70-80 Kheshatta Notes: No info yet I know the guide already mentions it, but really.. spend all your cash in hp pots, they are extremely overpowered early in the game. For some classes that are extremely weak until 20, its the only way to fight 3 mobs at a time soloing.
