Jumping with flag, asymmetry

So, messing around on the CTF map, we found that if you time it right, you can throw a flag at a teammate who is casting an ability like jetpack/rocket jump and if they catch it before the ability is cast, they will take it with them while they jump. This can be used for really fast caps, and with a bit of practice it's (allegedly) not that hard to do. We did it once or twice in actual games. It seems kind of exploity, but I guess you'll be the judge of that! Also, I noticed that Ravener can jump from the middle to her own flag, but she can't jump from the middle to the top area/enemy flag area, suggesting that they're not completely symmetrical or something weird is going on. Just thought I'd point it out.
