2 Viewers , 2 Accounts Same Computer

You can 2box on 1 computer, quite easily.

I will stress 2GB of ram is a MUST! A decent video card is good also, but I still get 25-30fps while 2boxing. This also only works on windows XP. You must have 2 accounts. Before doing this, log in and click "windowed mode" then log back out.

1) go to c:/programfiles/turbine (or wherever your lotro is installed, NOT THE FILE IN MY DOCUMENTS!) Copy the "lord of the rings online" folder.

2) paste that folder to your desktop

3) rename the folder "lord of the rings online2"

4) go inside that folder and find "turbine launcher", right click and "create shortcut"

5) drag that shortcut to the desktop.

Now, you must click both "turbine launcher, gold rings" before logging in! You will get 2 login screens. Put one account info in one, and the other account info in the other.

Log in.

You can now alt+tab between the programs, no problem. I also use a G15 for things like /follow.
