Kerning City PQs

Description

Okay, before starting, make sure you are at least level 21 before even mentioning PQs. Once you are lvl 21, you might be able to get in to the really nice pqers pqs, but most likely, still impossible till about lvl 24.

Instructions

Okay, now that you are high enough to pq, go to channel 1 in the Kerning City Sewer entrance area (DO NOT ENTER THE SEWER), and you will see a lot of people spamming things like J> PQ lvl 28 mage, or something along those lines, now its ure job to do that. Post something like J< PQ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ @@@@ continued as far as possible. Most people do not space after 4 '@'s, but it makes ure post go a lot higher. Trust me on this. MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT IN A PARTY BEFORE TRYING THIS. People get very angry if you are.

Okay, your in a party, now what? Listen to your leader, if they say cc 18, you change channel to 18, if they say stay here, you better stay there. Most likely your group will be saying things like "What is the track", "I have track in 16" and "./find 'Insertnamehere'", this is some speak that is known after a while, on how to find someone who is in the party quest, and be able to take there spot, since only 1 party is allowed in each channel at a time.

Once you get in,

The Party Quest Begins
1st Stage:

Okay, this stage can be considered one of the easiest, yet one of the longest to do. Go over to the far right, ignoring the vines, and talk to the NPC here. She will say to you on how in order to move on, you have to get coupons equal to the correct answer to her questions.

The questions are as follows:

Required level to become a mage: 8
Required level to become a warrior: 10
Required level to become a thief: 10
Required level to become a bowman: 10

Amount of EXP you need to go from level 1 to level 2: 15

Required INT to become a mage: 20
Required DEX to become a thief: 25
Required DEX to become a bowman: 25
Required STR to become a warrior: 35

After you get determine your number, tell your party, then its off to hunt ligators. If you can't hit ligator at the moment, tell your party, don't be afraid to ask for help. They may hate you a little, but a lot less then waiting 15 minutes for you to get 1 coupon. Each ligator will drop a coupon, and once you get the EXACT number you need for your question, no more, no less, talk to the NPC again, and she will say "That's the right answer!" and give you your pass. Give this to the leader when they are ready to move on. After your leader recieves a pass from all your members, and talks to the NPC, you will see CLEAR in big letters and gain 100 exp.

Exp: 100 + exp from ligators.

2nd Stage:

In this stage, leaders don't do anything except click on the NPC while they let their party members move around the 4 vines. The object of this stage is to find the correct combination for the vines to move on.

Your team will either want to move clockwise on the vines, or counter clockwise.

Here's how it works, after all 3 non-leaders are on different vines, the leader will click, if it comes up as WRONG, whoever has an empty space clockwise (or counter-clockwise if thats the way your going) moves to that empty space, and this keeps going until it comes up as "CLEAR".

Possible combinations:
Top Left - Top Right - Bottom Left
Top Left - Top Right - Bottom Right
Top Left - Bottom Left - Bottom Right
Top Right - Bottom Left - Bottom Right

Exp: 200

Stage 3:

Like stage 2, the object is to make the proper combination with the spaces with cats on them (like the vines before), The number of cats is the spaces number. This time, there is 1 more space making the number of options that much more. For this one, the person who is on the furthest space moves to the next one if it is wrong and keeps going until space 5, then the second person moves to the next space, and the furthest person moves to the adjacent space, and this keeps going until it comes up CLEAR.

Possible Combinations:
123, 124, 125, 134, 135, 145, 234, 235, 245, 345
(This is the order people will do it EVERY TIME)

Exp: 400

Stage 4:

Okay, the final number puzzle mission. For this one, you have to determine the order for the 6 barrels. This one is pretty much the same as stage 3, but I will warn you, if you are not good at jumping, go to barrel 1. People get mad if you take forever to move on.

Possible Combinations:
123, 124, 125, 126, 134, 135, 136, 145, 146, 156, 234, 235, 236, 245, 246, 256, 345, 346, 356, 456 (This is the order people will do it EVERY TIME)

Exp: 800

Last Stage:

You are now in a basic killing stage, where all you have to do is kill the 10 enemies. Fall down to the first platform, and you find curse eyes. Leave these enemies to good level warriors, theives and bowman, since they can take a lot of beating, and the melee attackes have the best chance against them. On the next platform is the 6 Jr. Neckies, these are basically unhittable except for mages and good level thieves, so leave it to them. Finally the boss is on the next platform. King Slime, this is one tough bugger for pqs, basically the only people able to deal good damage to them are mages, so you might want to stand back. King slime has 3 "attacks"

His first attack is the same as all other enemies before this point, he walks right into you.

The second attack is his stomp, he will jump up and do an earthquake move that damages for about 200 to all enemies on the ground. Just jump as he hits the ground and you should be fine.

The third attack is his summon skill. He summons regular green slimes, to help protect him. He starts doing this after he is half-dead.

Soon enough, you will kill the king. Once he dies, he will summon a large number of green slimes.

Some party leaders will tell you not to kill the death summons because there is a rumor that it is bad luck. If they say this, just don't kill them, nuff said. Climb all the way back to the top. Each of these enemies drop a pass, so after your leader grabs all 10, he will talk to the NPC to the right and you will be rewarded 1500 exp. Talk to the NPC to the right, and you will be given a bonus item, and taken to the bonus level.

The possible items are;
-Lightning Earrings
-Star Earrings
-Red Cross Earrings
-Gold Earrings
-Sapphire Earrings
-Emerald Earrings
-Brown Bamboo Hat
-Blue Bamboo Hat
-Green Bamboo Hat
-8 Ores (ones that aren't rare, such as Steel or Topaz)
-5 Ores (not very common or rare, such as Gold)
-3 Ores (rare ones, such as Black Crystal or Diamond)
-Scroll for Gloves for DEX (10%)
-Scroll for Overall Armour for DEX (10%)
-Scroll for Topwear for Def (10%)
-Scroll for Bottomwear for Def (10%)
-Scroll for Helmet for Def (10%)
-5 Sets of Subi Throwing Stars
-2 Sets of Wolbi Throwing Stars
-1 Set of Mokbi Throwing Stars
-30 Screws

Exp: 1500 + exp from all enemies

Total exp: 3000 + enemies.

Congratulations, you have completed the Party Quest! Once you have completed this, and are in the bonus level, one member of the party will be a scout while the rest wait in bonus to kill enemies. Once there arent very many people near Lakelis, the scout will say "RUSH" and you all leave the bonus as fast as you can, click the NPC at the exit area, and head to lakelis, if you manage to get in again, repeat all the information from "The party quest begins"
